Even though we were relatively local, we were living several hours away from the wedding site. Sylvie had an intimate knowledge of the vendors and options in the area, and she went out of her way to contact multiple options. She presented us with many examples of her work, and we were very pleased with her style of decoration. She outdid herself at the actual wedding, with decorations that were better than expected. She was very worried about the weather, and had backup plans in place for cases of rain, but we were blessed with perfect weather on the afternoon of the wedding. However, the following day, it rained in the afternoon at just about the time sylvie had warned us it tended to rain. The catering option she picked was perfect, the DJ was great, and the hora loca was the hit of the night. If we ever got married in DR again, we would hire sylvie for the event without a second thought, she was a pleasure and made our wedding as spectacular as it could be!
